Meeting Recap:
The amendment to the election sign bylaw has been referred back to Staff to revise the draft bylaw to include the following changes:
One (1) election sign per candidate per frontage
Election signs to be permitted on the public boulevard adjacent to private property (West, Davidson, Liu, Cilevitz voted against)
Councillor Davidson's traffic calming motion was passed unanimously by council.
Councillor Chan's motions regarding the commemoration of Mahsa Amini and a time capsule were passed unanimously by council.
Councillor Thompson's motion for additional open house signs also passed (Councillor Liu voted against)
