York Region is constructing an air management facility near Yonge St. and King Rd. to remove the nasty odour that has lingered in the area for years.
The odour control technology of this facility will remove odour causing compounds from the York Durham Sewage System (YDSS) sewer which has been identified as a source of odour in the area.
Work began in the Fall of 2022 is expected to be completed by next Spring.
